BURN BAN EFFECTIVE 08/19/2026 for Lincoln Parish.

Due to expected record setting high temperatures over the next couple of weeks and limited rainfall, the NWS is predicting ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS.

As a result, the Lincoln Parish Fire District #1 has issued a BURN BAN.

The Choudrant Fire Dept. will follow the LPFD lead, with BURN BANS effective immediately for all of Lincoln Parish!
